Hogwarts has always been just out of reach. The books and films belong to Harry and his friends. For decades, the fans have been standing outside the gates, waiting for an adventure of their own. That is the promise of our launch campaign for Hogwarts Legacy — your invitation has finally arrived.

We crafted a tagline and key art that positioned Hogwarts Legacy as the invitation fans have been witing for their entire lives.

Our launch film tells the story of one owl’s perilous journey to deliver your invitation. We packed it with details we knew would send fans into a frenzy — a “Professor Weasley” name drop, the reveal of the killing curse, a cameo from a certain nearly-headless ghost, and many more.

And since so many fans are drawn to the Dark Arts, we brought that sinister fantasy to life for the Deluxe Edition. At Hogwarts, your legacy is what you make of it.

Our campaign put the fans and their dreams first. It helped Hogwarts Legacy soar to the the #1 spot on Steam, Xbox, and Playstation storefronts, and break the Twitch record for the most-watched singleplayer game with 1.3 millions viewers — all before the game officially launched. It went on to sell over 12 million copies in its first two weeks, making it WB's biggest game launch ever and cementing it as an early contender for Game of the Year.
